Boho Betty @ The Baftas - Taking Boho to the big screen!
The who's who of British television will be strutting their stuff on the red carpet tomorrow night, and we relish the opportunity to admire the exotic array of outfits and designers on display (from the comfort of our sofa, with a glass of vino, and most probably in our PJs!)
Some stars will play it safe in classic black (it's a safe bet and always a winner) whilst others will be bold and beautiful in bright colours and statement shapes (risky business, but if you have the fashion confidence go for it!)
All the guests will have carefully selected some stylish (and in many cases eye-wateringly expensive!) accessories to complete their look, but what if they came to us for a little style inspiration instead?...
We've put together our accessory choices for three of this year's nominees, and we think they'd look fabulous in them, don't you?
Best Rising Star: Tessa Thompson (Thor)
Young, gutsy and not afraid to stand out with her fashion choices, we love this crystal tuxedo. You have to have maximum sass to carry off a look like this and Tessa has it in spades! To accompany her 'rising star' status what better accessory than our Saldana silver star studs and matching Madeira silver star lariat necklace?
Not afraid to be edgy, our Hewitt silver nail ring adds a little punk attitude to the formal occasion and a stack of bracelets on her wrist to complete the 'silver screen' inspired look!
Best Actress In A Leading Role: Margot Robbie (I, Tonya)
Let's face it, we've had a serious girl crush on Margot Robbie since Wolf of Wall Street and if she keeps knocking it out of the park with her sartorial selections it doesn't look like abating anytime soon. We've gone with what we like to call 'look at me I'm simply fabulous' gold accessories to compliment her blonde hair and enviable figure.
Our oversized thread-through circle earrings and matching necklace won't get drowned out by the statement dress, and our animal print clutch picks out the black from her belt. Complete the look with a modern open-fronted ring and stack of classic gold bracelets, because her wrist deserves a little pizzazz too!
Best Actress In A Supporting Role: Kristin Scott Thomas (Darkest Hour)
Ever since Four Weddings & a Funeral we've aspired to be just one tenth as chic as KST. She's effortlessly graceful and glamorous in a way that puts us all to shame (note to self: I must at least try and perfect winged eyeliner in an attempt to look chic!) Multiple nominee and previous Bafta-winner, she really needs very little help from us to shine on the red carpet, but if we did have the honour of accessorising her this is what we'd pick.
Layered gold necklaces for a statement look, paired with simple yet elegant square studs, topped off with a large gem stone ring. The only thing missing is a flash of red nail polish and you've got 'screen siren chic'.
