Pinkster Gin 'n' Jam Cocktail

Pinkster Gin 'n' Jam Cocktail

We’re very excited to be running another competition with agreeably British Pinkster Gin. This time the prize includes their gorgeous pink gin as well as their new Gin Jam. Made from the raspberries that didn't make the cut as they were too ‘squishy’ (technical term) for their Boozy Berries. This decidedly fruity jam is perfect for putting the tipple in teatime.

June Social Style Guide - Roland Garros & Royal Ascot Accessories

As the summer sporting season springs into action we're making mental mood boards and religiously checking our weather app to work out what to wear.

Penciled into our busy social calendar for June are trips to Roland Garros and Royal Ascot. If the tension of match point doesn't do it for you then the thundering of hooves will set your pulse racing, being big tennis and racing fans we're super excited to be going to both!

A cocktail named in our honour!

We love this time of year because the festive season is awash with Christmas events, black tie balls and drinks parties. The perfect excuse to splash out on a new outfit and most importantly some new accessories!

#BloggersBall Event

#BloggersBall Event

A huge thank you to Scarlett London who organised the #bloggersball event last weekend! It was a great success and we had such a lovely time meeting new faces and sharing our collections with you all.

It was so lovely to hear that everyone enjoyed the event just as much as we did... Here's a small selection of a few blog posts we've spotted from the lovely girls we met:

'So where to start! Massive thanks to the lovely Scarlett London for managing to pull off such a fantastic blogging event!

I am still very new to the whole blogging game and this event was my second blogging event and to say I was nervous would be a definite understatement! The day started off with me manically running around London trying to get my bearings (I’m often in London but still find tubes so freaking confusing!) I was stressing out about what I was going to wear and not getting lost etc etc.

Luckily a lovely group of bloggers organised Pizza Express before the event which was so what I needed. Going to a big blogger event is surprisingly quite intimidating so it was great to meet a slightly smaller group to eat, drink and chat about blogging in a relaxed environment. We were all keen beans & arrived at DSTRK in Piccadilly Circus early and took the opportunity to take a load of outfit photos. Met the beautiful Scarlett and entered the building…

I was absolutely blown away with how busy, gorgeous, interesting and insightful the event was! Often nightclubs look odd once the lights were up but it was a fantastic event with the majority of brands in one section and the other section having a more chilled out vibe with places to sit – thank god because my heels were hurting! There were plenty of opportunities to mingle with other bloggers, brands and get involved with activities and chances to win prizes. For once I actually won a beautiful, colourful scarf!

The 2 and a half hours flew by and a few bloggers stayed on and we ended up having dinner and cocktails, reflecting on the perfect day!

Next up the beautiful Jewellery Box. I have seen all these stunning pieces all over social media and was intrigued. At the stall I tried on the Rose Gold arrow ring and it fitted my tiny finger yay! I find it so tricky to find rings that fit! So I was over the moon to find inside the box the exact rose gold ring that I tried – I can’t stop wearing it! Unfortunately the rose gold bracelet doesn’t fit my wrist and falls off which is such a shame! The twinkly silver wrap around bracelet from Boho Betty fits though! This is perfect in summer and especially when it’s sunny as the beads and metal sparkle in the sunlight!'

Last week I received a lovely email from a lady called Laura, (hi Laura!) who got in touch to say how much she enjoyed reading my blog and said that she uses reading the blog for some “me time”, explaining that since she’d had her baby and then recently gone back to work, time for herself was limited and it was nice to have a little escapism from Mum life.
